Stacey’s 365 Project- Day 46

I serve as the Senior President of the Jacob Roberts Brown Society Children of the American Revolution, and today our group went to Palatka for tea with "Martha and George Washington" for Presidents Day. It was a nice reenactment of their life during the American Revolution, filled with cookies, and tea for a snack. The C.A.R. kids, posted the colors, lead the pledge, lead the Lord's prayer, and picked the winning tickets for the raffles. It was nice to have them so involved.

Stacey’s 365 Project- Day 45

Valentine's Day is truly what you make of it. Today my husband and I were really busy trying to finish a remodel for an open house next weekend and we spent all Valentines day painting, cleaning, gluing, and photographing, but when we came home from a long day of working he made me this. I don't need flowers, or jewelry, or candy, I am more than happy with a heart shaped gluten-free burger!

Stacey’s 365 Project- Day 44

I can't even begin to tell you how happy this picture makes me. It is a very long story about my grandma passing away, the economy being not that great, renting her house only to have the renters destroy it, and a year of remodeling to get it sellable once more. Stacey’s 365 Project- Day 43

Continuing with the man made macro theme (I promise I won't do this forever) I grabbed my Brighton ring for a photoshoot. I took this one outside and set it on my husbands old rusty grill. I really like the one solid line of rust you can see just under the ring. I also like how the ring just pops off this reddish, rusty background and the way the subtle color changes in the ring are visible.
