Stacey’s 365 Project- Day 123

I finally have a bicycle rider! My little one, the strong willed (they are actually both strong willed) child who marches to the beat of her own drum, was asked by her cousin to bring her bike to a family get together. The get together was in the country, on 5 acres none of which is paved. So I told her we could not have the training wheels out there because they would just stick in the grass. Once she got there her cousin (the same age) asked her to ride, he had learned how earlier that week...So my cousin...

I wish I had a drive like this in Gainesville, the closest to this might be Millhopper Road. I guess technically this is not my "photo of the day" because I took this while we were in South Carolina as we were leaving my Granny and Grandaddy's. I asked my mom to pull the car over, because I knew this would be a cool picture and honestly I LOVE the way it turned out. This kid! She pushes my buttons, rarely smiles when my camera is pointed at her and sometimes makes poor decisions but she is my little love bug! When I saw this shirt I knew she HAD to have it! Anyone who knows her, knows she marches to the beat of her own drum, and I LOVE that about her, and it also drives me batty at times. I'd never give it up though. She enjoys a good snuggle, and loves being silly and I love her to pieces. She really is my "One of a Kind" kid! ...and this pose...

Stacey’s 365 Project- Day 72

Today a friend and I set out with our cameras to Paynes Prairie, in Gainesville, FL to photograph some wildlife. You can almost always count on seeing some alligators, and although I have been told all my life that there are wild horses on the prairie I've never seen them...until today! Today I got to see three of the wild horses, alligators, and a blue heron (who we watched catch a fish and fly away). There are also bison on the prairie, which I also have never seen, so I will have to return. Paynes Prairie is biologically, geologically and...
