St. Augustine Photographers Reunion, Part 6

The third day of our reunion consisted of five more photoshoots. These first one for my group (the 50mm group) was of two boys. The boys knew each other, but one was a senior in need of Senior pictures, and the other was a freshman along for the ride. They both seemed to have a good time. Stacey’s 365 Project- Day 114

I mentioned that I would be doing a Veteran's photoshoot at the VFW in #GainesvilleFL the day after my Grandaddy's pictures in South Carolina. This is one of the Veteran's I got a picture of. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the #USMC and he served in Korea and Vietnam and earned THREE Purple Hearts, among many other awards and ribbons. I was really excited when he showed up in his full dress uniform including white gloves. It was such an honor to get to photograph this among others today. Yesterday I told you the story of the field trip to get my mom's new dog, and the fact that we were going to visit my Granny and Grandaddy with hopes of a photoshoot. I told you about my plan to photographically document our Veterans (and Active duty). We my Grandaddy got to be my first muse. He was a WWII veteran, and recently went on an "Honor Flight". This photo makes me very happy, because she is very happy! I have photographed her before, and she didn't like the results. I told her I would re-do it for her and this is the re-do. This is for her professional headshot for her job as a mortgage lender. She posted this on Facebook and her account blew up! Everyone encouraging her, it is so amazing what photography can do!
