I find this picture amusing, not for it's content but for the story behind it. We have a common tradition when family from out of state come to town, we take them to see alligators of course! Everyone knows Florida is known for its alligator population, and our out-of-town guests always want to see them. Stacey’s 365 Project- Day 115

I wish I had a drive like this in Gainesville, the closest to this might be Millhopper Road. I guess technically this is not my "photo of the day" because I took this while we were in South Carolina as we were leaving my Granny and Grandaddy's. I asked my mom to pull the car over, because I knew this would be a cool picture and honestly I LOVE the way it turned out. Sometime, just sometimes it is worth pulling the car over to photograph something that you know will be awesome.

Stacey’s 365 Project- Day 103

I saw this bud beginning to open this evening when I came home from work. I enjoy that we have different flowering plants around our house that open up at different times always giving me new options to photograph. Normally, these are not my favorite plants, in fact I think I like them better as a bud than fully open.
